Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy Suresh (born 17 October 1992) is an Indian actress, who is primarily in Tamil as well as Telugu film, as well as to some Malayalam films. She was awarded the National Film Awards' Best Actress award for portraying Savitri the character in the Telugu film Mahanati (2018). In addition, she has received three SIIMA Awards and a Filmfare Award South. Keerthy is the child of film producer G. Suresh Kumar and actress Menaka G. Suresh. Her career began in early 2000s, as a young actor. She returned into the industry of film after completing her studies in the field of fashion. She starred in her debut major character on screen in Geethaanjali (2013) in a Malayalam movie. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). Keerthy began working on projects that were not Malayalam in the year 2015. The actress also signed on to be a part of several Tamil films simultaneously. The director is A. L. Vijay together alongside Vikram and Vikram, who premiered Idhu Enna Maayam in 2015. The movie didn't do very well, but it did release. To make room for larger projects due to her hectic schedule, she was forced to opt from a few films which she started to work on. This included Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye (a love story) and Deekay's Kavalaivendam. In the following years, she was working on Rajini Murugan's Remo and Remo in two film. Additionally, Dhanush and she played as the main characters in Prabhu Solomon's Thodari. The film was pushed back in 2015, and there are reports that the film will release after September 2020, under the name Janakitho Nenu. Subsequently, the first film to debut was in 2016's Nenu Sailaja with actress Ram Pothineni. Keerthy made her debut in Bairavaa with Vijay, directed by Bharathan.
