Donald Joseph Qualls also known as DJ Qualls in America is an American actor and producer. After gaining fame through his roles on Road Trip he has since appeared in over 20 feature films including The New Guy Hustle & Flow as well as The Core. In addition to his work as a character in the film, he has appeared in over 22 TV shows like Breaking Bad Supernatural Srubs Lost Law & Order and many more. Qualls has been diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma around age 14, and has battled the disease ever since. The cancer had gone into remission after two years. The early treatment had severe effects on his health and stunted growth. After he began performing, financial stability was the goal. He was a victim of the poverty of his youth. Interviewer stated that as he had lived so sparingly throughout his life I required security in my finances to feel secure and in control. In an interview the interviewer also talks about his own childhood. His goal is to stop bullies. DJ states "Cruelty causes pain to my soul." The best job for DJs is one of a father in real life. But he says "Directors aren't casting me for those roles." In the future, he'd love to have a kid so that he could devote much less of his time in order to spend more time with the newborn.
