John Denver, a singer-songwriter who hails from Colorado who specialized in folk music has inspired millions of people. Henry John Deutschendorf Jr. was born in Roswell, New Mexico. He fell in love Colorado and settled down in Aspen. A few took the road towards Colorado after listening to Denver's iconic national anthems in his new home. G. Brown the curator of Colorado Music Hall of Fame stated the fact that John Denver was the best artist to capture Colorado. In the year 2011, Denver was selected as the Hall of fame's first inductee. Denver has become the image of Colorado for a lot of people throughout the world. When you encounter people from other countries, like New Zealanders, and they ask them "I come from Colorado" and they reply "Oh John Denver. Brown admitted. Take Me Home Country Roads composed by Bill Danoff and Denver after his brief career in a folk group which was Denver's first Top 10 solo hit. Danoff had written the song using Johnny Cash in mind but after Denver first heard the song he knew right away the song was likely to become a hit single. After performing the track at Washington D.C. to a massive crowd, Denver made a recording a few days later.
